First Friday, Corridor Study Underway, and Person Street Plaza Reno Begins

November's First Friday on Person Street welcomes Slingshot Coffee, a new business which occupies a corner of Oak City Cycling. This will be Slingshot Coffee's grand opening and will feature art, music, beer, and food trucks. Check out the following link and plan to stop by.

Just above Oak City Cycling, WRAL lists Nicole's Studio and Gallery as a "best bet" for First Friday. See notice.

The Blount and Person Street Corridor study is underway and includes Wake Forest Road and the impact of those streets on the Person Street business district. Check out a summary of the kick-off meeting and next steps.

And, finally work has begun on the long anticipated renovation of the Person Street Plaza. The false

facades have been removed and activity is underway.
