"Dig Where You Live" Food Truck Fest - - Raleigh City Farm Fundraiser

Right on the heels of The First Annual Downtown Raleigh Oktoberfest , the folks at Raleigh City Farm have organized another exciting street festival in the Person Street business district that is bringing more and more people into our area of North Downtown .

So when you’re tired of Thanksgiving leftovers and you want to get off the couch and out of the house next weekend, here’s something fun in your own backyard to help an up and coming organization in our community.

Our partners at the Raleigh City Farm are holding their first annual “Dig Where You Live” Food Truck Fest and Fundraiser on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 26th from 11-3 in the 200 block of East Franklin Street (rain or shine). This is the site of Raleigh City Farm’s first garden.

Chirba Chirba Dumpling, Escazu Chocolates, Only Burger and Klausie’s Pizza will be dishing out fabulous food and drink and there may be more vendors. Artists and craftspeople will be selling their wares and there will be a silent auction – so come out and do some local eating and shopping while the music plays and you meet others that are excited about the farm coming in our neighborhood. Like Oktoberfest, events like this are helping to build momentum in the Person Street business area of our CAC.

You can also learn about the inaugural planting season and the organization’s plans for the garden.

More information is available at RaleighCityFarm.com

If you are interested in having a booth at the event, would like to donate something for the silent auction or be an event sponsor, please contact: kristine@raleighcityfarm.org or 919-608-0399.
