Raleigh -- Community Conversations: Celebrating Ordinary Architecture
When: Monday, October 11, 2010 @ 7:00 PM to 8:30PM
Where: Daniels Middle School, 2816 Oberlin Road
Raleigh has many post-WWII neighborhoods of modest colonial and ranch houses. What makes these houses and neighborhoods special? What techniques are there for updating these smaller, mid-century architectural gems?
Please join the Raleigh Historic Districts Commission and Preservation NC for a Community Conversation where local experts will discuss the character, charm and evolution of Raleigh’s post-War neighborhoods, as well as strategies for updating smaller, older homes.
