Mordecai CAC residents will get a sneak peek at the city’s planning process during the March Community Meeting.

Staff members from the city’s planning department will walk residents through a unified development ordinance (UDO) exercise.

The new UDO, which has been in development for about a year, will replace all of the existing zoning code by creating a systematic and cohesive code for future growth.

Residents are encouraged to be involved in an interactive, hands-on, simulation exercise to help the city's planning process.

The CAC Leadership Team have been busy polling residents for hot topics in the community that could involve the city's planning process.

We will meet on Tuesday evening March 8th at 7:30 PM in Trinity United Methodist Church at the intersection of Sasser and Bloodworth, in a downstairs room accessed from the side parking lot along Sasser. Everyone, homeowners and renters, those living within the CAC or adjacent areas are welcome to attend.
