Street Closure - Holden Street, Oct 30 2011

Dear Mr. Sean O’Neal,

The Raleigh City Council in their meeting held on October 4, 2011, granted you permission to hold an animal parade and block party. The date and time is Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The participants will assemble on the vacant lot located on Holden Street at Bloodworth Street. At 2:00 p.m. the group will enter ontoHolden Street and proceed east to the 600 block of Holden Street for a block party. The requested closure is in the 600 block of Holden Street, between Watauga Street and Elm Street.

The Police Department does not object to this event being held as planned. On duty police personnel will assist with the parade. Mr. O’Neal has stated he has notified all the residents affected by the closure and there were no objections. Mr. O’Neal you are responsible for providing the barricades necessary to safely block the roadway and for cleaning up any debris immediately following the event. The Department of Transportation does not object to this event.
