Kudzu Park Revialization

Many thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday to help plant trees in the area known as Kudzu park. Through your efforts and students from Leesville High School we were able to plant a variety of trees on the hill in Kudzu park as well as clear out some vegetation from the Marshall Street Park area.

I hope that this is the just the beginning in revitalizing the Kudzu Park area and am looking forward to perhaps one day seeing this area covered in trees and wildlife rather than over run by Kudzu!

Take a walk by the Marshall/Blount/Mulberry area to see the trees!!! We will be working to keep these trees healthy throughout the next year through the help of the Pilot Mills HOA and are hoping that we can plant more trees in other parts of this area as we move forward.
