2nd Partnership Meeting Announced

When: Monday June 6 at 5:00 - 6:15 pm.

Where: Urban Design Center

This is the second meeting of the partnership and follows the well-attended kick-off meeting held in March where City staff presented an inventory of traffic and planning initiatives planned for the Person Street Business area. At that meeting, we also identified a list of potential topics that might favorably impact the area and help to build momentum.

At the upcoming June meeting our presenters will address the following  important topics:


Eric Lamb  - -  Manager, City of Raleigh Office of Transportation Planning
“The NCDOT Connection - - Engaging the NCDOT on Decisions Made in Our Area of Downtown”

David Diaz - - President and CEO, Downtown Raleigh Alliance                                                                 “Reaching Out to the DRA - - Recommendations for the Person Street Business District”

David Eatman - - Head of Transit Services, City of Raleigh                                                              
 “The R Line and Beyond - - Transit Possibilities for Better Connectivity to Person Street”

Please plan to attend this very important meeting as we continue to explore ways of building momentum for the Person Street area of Downtown. We will also have updates and reports on current activity among the partnership stakeholders.
