“The Person Street Project”, a research and design project conducted by faculty and senior students from the School of Architecture at NC State University fall semester 2011.
Presentation - - Philip Bernard, will present and discuss:
“The Person Street Plan” - - after spending our first two meetings identifying issues, problems, and current initiatives, Philip will propose and present the creation of a five year plan for achieving our shared goals for the Person Street area. The plan will include the following five areas for growth:
New Businesses and Creation of a Vibrant Business and Restaurant District
The Person/Blount Street Corridor Study, Streetscape Projects, and the Two Way Street Debate
Vacant Store Fronts, Empty Lots, and the Realtor/ Developer Challenge
