Mayor Meeker has officially proclaimed April “Raleigh History Month” and asked residents to join their neighbors in participating and learning from this observance. The City of Raleigh’s Parks and Recreation Department is doing its part by inviting people to tour Mordecai Historic Park and ride the Raleigh Trolley. Sunday tours will be at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $3 for youth and seniors, and free for children six and under.
